Master of Arts in Educational Psychology, Bachelor of Arts Honours in Psychology

Lexi (she/her) has a Master of Arts in Educational Psychology from the University of Victoria, specializing in Learning, Development and Instructional Sciences. From her experience working as a Learning Strategist, and with her thesis focusing on how notetaking (either typing or handwriting) is affected by cognitive load in classroom settings, Lexi has a passion for supporting students of all abilities with effective learning strategies. She believes that every student should have the opportunity to excel with personalized support that highlights their unique strengths and learning styles. 

Lexi also has a strong interest in psychoeducational assessments, having gained experience using these tools in her academic and professional careers.  

Outside of work, Lexi enjoys spending time travelling through British Columbia with her little dog, Belinda. She is also a lifelong equestrian, passionate about competing in the hunter/jumper divisions. As a lover of space-themed sci-fi, she can always recommend a good book!
