Celebrate National Indigenous History Month!

Join Renfrew Park Community Centre for a captivating morning of storytelling and celebration!  

They will be honouring National Indigenous History Month at Renfrew Park Community Centre with Kung Jaadee, a renowned Indigenous storyteller and author. 

Open to all on June 12, 2024, from 9:30am to 11:30am. Stay for bannock and jam after the presentation! 

Rolling With ADHD: Resources for Parents, Teachers and Teens

Rolling with ADHD is an eight-module series that covers practical tools and strategies for caregivers of children with ADHD. This series has been adapted from the long-standing in-person program at BC Children’s Hospital, and includes what research shows really works for kids and families living with ADHD.

The Path Forward

A step in the VSO’s commitment to Truth and Reconciliation is The Path Forward, curated by the VSO Indigenous Council with performances by the VSO in collaboration with Indigenous artists and musicians from the Coast Salish Territory of the Musqueam; Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations. A special concert celebration aligning with and honouring National Indigenous Peoples Day.

BGC South Coast BC – 3rd Annual Youth Pride BBQ

Join BGC for their 3rd Annual Youth Pride BBQ! There will be a BBQ, sundae bar, arts, and crafts, affirming stations and entertainment!

The event is for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth and allies ages 13-24!
