Make a Difference

Like you, we believe that all children, youth, and adults should have access to expert, specialized learning support, regardless of their ability to pay.

Why LDS – Learn. Develop. Succeed.?

Every dollar you donate will contribute to LDS’ internal bursary, ensuring subsidized support for those who need it most. Give in a way that works best for you. Thanks to donors like you, LDS has been transforming lives through learning since 1970!

We break down barriers.

We ensure that anyone who needs our support can access it, regardless of socioeconomic status or geographical location. LDS provides comprehensive, tailored learning support to meet the unique needs of all learners, empowering them to succeed.

Our methods work.

And we have the data to prove it.

UBC studies have shown remarkable advancements in our students’ literacy and math skills.

We effect social change.

According to a report from the Justice Institute of BC and the Vancouver Board of Trade, early interventions for disadvantaged kids lead to reduced instances of crime, teenage pregnancies and welfare dependency.

Why I Give

I think this charity is awesome and the way of the future! I understand the need as our family has neurodiversity challenges, and any help and support is always appreciated and quite necessary in achieving the full potential of our young humans and families.

– Nina Tappin, Physiotherapist and Parent with an ADHD/neurodiverse child

Thank You to Our Supporters

Thank you to our growing community of donors, grantors, and sponsors for helping us empower children, youth, and adults with learning differences to recognize their unique strengths and develop the tools to achieve lifelong independence, confidence, and success. You play a vital role in our organization and we are so grateful that you have chosen to support children and youth in our community with learning differences.

Thank you to our donors for supporting children and youth in our community with learning differences.
