Children and youth with disabilities in BC are still being left out. The latest report from the RCY (Representative of Children and Youth) is alarming – families waiting years for support and feelings of no confidence to receive services for their children. Momentous work still needs to be done to support individuals with a wide variety of disabilities, including learning differences, from the early years into early adulthood.
This report is a great place to begin if you want to dig deeper into updates on what the RCY sees happening. You can learn about what progress is and needs to be made.

The Fall 2022 Education Edition of BC Parent magazine is out, and it features a highly informative and inspiring article by Dr. Jennifer Fane, Director of Education at LDS.
