Program Description
The Adult Learning Program supports adults with suspected or diagnosed learning differences in reaching their education or workplace goals. These learning differences could include ADHD, ASD (autism spectrum disorder), dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, DCD (developmental coordination disorder), and more.
The program takes a unique approach to providing explicit instruction (literacy and math) and support (education, workplace). Adult learners are matched with a specialized, compassionate instructor who will provide targeted, individualized support and intervention in:
- Explicit instruction in literacy and math (levels below high school).
- Explicit instruction in literacy and math (high school level).
- Support with continued education programs (i.e., high school courses).
- Support with post-secondary programs (i.e., college, university, trades, etc.).
- Support with current workplace goals (i.e., adjustments and accommodations).
- Support entering or transitioning within the workforce (employment basics).
