VPL Workshop | Start the school year strong with an IEP

Are you a parent or guardian navigating the complexities of supporting a child with learning challenges at school? Start the school year with the tools and knowledge to be the best possible advocate for your child’s learning needs. Whether your child has a recent diagnosis, or you suspect learning challenges, this workshop will help you understand the Individual Education Plan (IEP) process and start the school year strong.

Disability Tax Credit and Registered Disability Savings Plan

In this workshop, learn about the Disability Tax Credit (DTC) and other related benefits. The DTC is a principal disability support that provides access to other important tax benefits, including the Child Disability Benefit, Canada Worker’s Benefit, Disability Supports Deduction.

This program will be delivered in partnership with Disability Alliance BC.

Rural Peer Support Fundamentals Training

Would you like to learn how to apply peer support skills and create peer support groups in your community? Become trained in Peer Specialist to encourage others in their mental health.

The Stigma-Free Mental Health peer support training costs $50 for administration fees which does not include a donation receipt. All training sessions are virtual.
