Girl in the Wild: Free confidence-building camps in wild spaces for teenagers who identify as girls or non-binary

Girl in the Wild brings teenagers (15-17) who self-identify as girls, non-binary, or genderqueer, from all over North America to a remote location in the Canadian Pacific Northwest to work through some tough stuff and leave feeling strong, empowered, and free. You can also expect hiking, meditation, yoga, journaling, body confidence, summit dancing, exploration, environmental stewardship, nutrition, swimming, mental health and much more! 

The application has to be completed BY March 20, 2024 at 9:00 PM PST.

Science World: Girls and STEAM: Career Path Adventures on International Women’s Day.

It’s a 45-minute journey, linked with their new feature exhibition, Dream Tomorrow Today, in which you’ll learn how these women have found success navigating various challenges and surprise.

Join the sensory friendly swim at Surrey Sport & Leisure Complex or South Surrey Indoor Pool. Sensory friendly swims are inclusive swim times for individuals and families looking for an environment with reduced noise. They are available for those who are autistic, have anxiety or other sensory processing needs, or anyone who feels they would benefit from a more supportive environment. Registration is not required.
