Program Description

Adult Learning supports adults with learning differences. If you are an adult with literacy or math challenges and need learning support to meet your goals, this program is for you. Whether you have a suspected or diagnosed learning disability like ADHD or dyslexia, our Research-informed Individualized Student Education (RISE) can meet you where you are in your learning journey. Get the support you need to help you succeed in post-secondary education, a training program, or return to the workforce with our targeted support and intervention.

This program is designed to meet an adult learner’s needs, skills, and goals. Each student is paired with a specialized, compassionate instructor to work towards their education or career goals. This program can provide the following:

  • Support for adults undertaking courses or training, including adult education, university courses, or pre-employment programs.
  • Explicit instruction to support literacy (reading/writing) or math skills.
  • Employment basics (resume and cover letter development, interviewing, applications) for entry or return to the workforce.
