Associate of Arts in Creative Writing, Special Education Assistant Certification
Aime (she/her) has worked with children with special education needs for over ten years. She has extensive experience supporting students with learning disabilities in literacy and numeracy, and has worked in a lower mainland school district as an Education Assistant and an Applied Behaviour Analysis Support Worker. She also holds a Creative Writing Associates degree from Kwantlen Polytechnic University, and a Special Education Assistant certification. Aime currently works with LDS students via our At School program, at the learning centre, and online. She enjoys being creative and building rapport with the students she teaches to make lessons unique and meaningful for them.
Our tutoring and instruction programs follow our unique Research-informed Individualized Student Education (RISE) methodology.
Our Academic Intensive offers students intensive, individualized learning support to build foundational academic skills in literacy and math.
In our Research-informed Individualized Student Education (RISE) program, students work one-to-one with a qualified instructor on ongoing, learning support, remedial instruction, tutoring and homework support.
