Program Description

The Kaufman Test of Educational Achievement, third edition (KTEA-3) is a Level-B academic assessment. It provides detailed information on a student’s reading, written expression, and mathematics performance. It can be helpful for families waiting for a psycho-educational assessment or who suspect their child is not at grade level in specific academic areas. It will show what grade level the student is at in each of these subjects. It can be an especially useful tool for families advocating for learning accommodations at school.

Please note that this is not a substitute for a formal psycho-educational assessment, as it does not assess cognitive performance.

Costs

  • Our sliding scale is applied to this assessment.
  • The Academic Assessment (KTEA-3) is $350.
  • The Academic Assessment (KTEA-3) and the Dyslexia Index is $450.
