RISE after School is a peer mentorship program for high school students to mentor an elementary school student. This mentorship program is designed to provide both academic and social supports that will enrich both the mentor and the mentee.
As a mentor, you will be giving valuable insights to what life in high school is like, help with schoolwork and be a positive role model for your mentee.

We currently have two high schools participating – Vancouver College and Little Flower Academy. We welcome inquiries from others that would like like to participate.
What we need from Mentors
Mentors will be asked to commit to one half hour mentorship meeting per week, plus initial training sessions of 1-2 hours in duration. The meetings will be held online so you will need access to a computer and a reliable internet connection.
To apply, please email us firstname.lastname@example.org to request a form and be prepared to provide two letters of reference OR the contact information of those two references: one teacher and one prior work or volunteer supervisor.
