Courtney W.

Courtney (she/her) is an Education Assistant with the Burnaby School District, where she supports students aged 2 to 19. With a Bachelor of Arts in History from Simon Fraser University and nine years of experience as a support worker, behaviour interventionist, and tutor, Courtney is passionate about creating engaging and inclusive learning experiences. She uses a play-based, holistic approach to meet each child’s unique needs and collaborates closely with families and support teams. Outside of work, Courtney enjoys exploring British Columbia’s landscapes, reading, and watching movies. Her goal is to inspire joy in learning and help students lead independent, authentic lives.
