After a successful spring break visit, our Access mobile classroom is coming back to Squamish in early July to provide valuable insights into your child’s academic and executive functioning strengths and stretches.
Our experienced assessors will administer formal assessments on Access, our electric mobile classroom. With only 4 assessment slots per day, we recommend signing up as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
When you sign up, your child will receive the following Level B Assessments to give them an LDS Learning Profile:
Why an LDS Learning Profile?
An LDS Learning Profile is a valuable tool that provides answers and clarity for where your child is academically. Following the assessments, you will meet with an LDS assessor who will interpret the results and give you helpful suggestions for next steps. The Learning Profile assessment results are incredibly valuable in advocating for your child, particularly within IEP meetings or other school discussions.
Please note that Level B assessments do not provide a diagnosis of a learning disability. “Level B assessments” are standardized assessments that can help shape personalized interventions and support strategies to improve academic and executive function skills, leading to improved academic performance, social interactions, and overall well-being.
Our assessments are offered by qualified, credentialed professionals.
How much
Learning Profiles are available on a sliding scale based on household income and other relevant extenuating circumstances. No one will be refused for lack of ability to pay. We are an independent nonprofit charity that raises funds through grants and donations to subsidize our services to learners and families in need.
Where
LDS Access will be stationed at Corsa Cycles downtown parking lot (thank you, Corsa!), and may also be moving around Squamish with our various partners.
We will confirm where you can meet us when you sign up.
Please note LDS Access bus cannot transport learners, so we will meet you at our parking location.
How
Click on the button above to sign your child up for July 2, 3, 4, 2025. If you have any questions or would like to host our mobile classroom, please email Lexi Sermer.
