Bachelor of Education
Aisling (she/her) is a devoted educator whose journey began when she earned a Bachelor of Education from Mary Immaculate College, Limerick, Ireland. Since then, she has worked educating students with a wide variety of learning differences, nurturing the children she comes into contact with.
Aisling has transitioned to Vancouver from Ireland and, in addition to her role at LDS, is serving as a local resource teacher in an elementary school. Aisling enjoys bringing her knowledge and enthusiasm to LDS learners and families. Her aim is always to provide a student-centred approach and empower every child to reach their full potential whenever they walk through the door.
Our tutoring and instruction programs follow our unique Research-informed Individualized Student Education (RISE) methodology.
In our Research-informed Individualized Student Education at Home (RISE at Home) program, students across BC learn virtually via our secure online systems one-to-one with a qualified instructor through reading intervention, language-based learning, tutoring, and homework support.
LDS Access is a mobile classroom service that will meet children with learning disabilities where they are and provide outreach learning support and assistive technology to communities in and around Metro Vancouver.
