Why our Camps are the best
Our Vancouver summer camps follow the same high standards as our tried and tested one-to-one instruction. Our Research-Informed Individualized Student Education (RISE) program draws from collective expertise to customize a program for your child, wherever they are in their learning journey. We apply these standards to our summer camp programs, where each group will be no larger than ten students.
Our camps include key learning principles for students with suspected or diagnosed learning differences in the following:
- reading, processing, writing, written expression
- computation and problem-solving
- executive function/self-regulation, organizational and time management skills

Each day includes fun indoor and outdoor activities that build on the summer camp themes and encourage teamwork, personal health and safety, social skills, outdoor exploration, and playing games. Every student will receive focused assistance on projects within the camp (e.g. writing tasks, science investigation tasks).
Our team provides instruction during camp. Our instructors are highly trained and experienced in teaching students with learning differences. Camp mentors assist with group activities.
All camp staff have criminal record checks (or equivalent for minors who are camp mentors), training in working with vulnerable populations, and first aid training.
