Vanessa (she/her) holds a BSc in Integrated Sciences from the University of British Columbia, concentrating in nutrigenomics and physiology. With a background in knowledge translation and marketing, she is passionate about making content accessible to all and ensuring that critical information reaches the right places.
Over the past six years, Vanessa has worked with various nonprofit organizations and enjoys collaborating with like-minded individuals to create meaningful, sustainable change. She has worked on several projects to strengthen organizations’ brand identity and visibility. As the Communications Coordinator, she is highly dedicated to supporting LDS in its mission to help youth and adults navigate learning differences.
In her free time, Vanessa loves trying her hand at baking new recipes, drawing, and throwing pottery. She also loves discovering new music and enjoys playing video games.
