Shaping the Future: How Skills for Trades Benefits Employers

Skills for Trades is a vocationally focused adult program tailored to skilled trades apprentices and workers to achieve their vocational, learning, and life goals. Skills for Trades equips individuals with a comprehensive and individualized learning profile, based on prescriptive assessments, interventions, mentorship, and assistive technology tools, to support them in pre-employment training and trades certification.

Skills for Trades learners receive specialized training to develop key educational and workplace skills, including communication, problem-solving, organization, and resilience under pressure. They arrive on the job with confidence and strategies needed to contribute, adapt, and succeed.
