Celebrating Our Roots

Learn. Develop. Succeed. (formerly the Learning Disabilities Society of Greater Vancouver, and the Learning Disabilities Association of BC – Vancouver Chapter) was established in 1970 by a group of parents concerned about the lack of educational resources for their children. What began as a small parent-led association has developed into a rapidly growing, expert-led, evidence-informed nonprofit with sustained impact across the region.

Over more than five decades, we have grown in:
  • Number of learners served
  • Geographic reach
  • Program diversity
  • Volunteer engagement
  • Measurable academic outcomes
  • Organizational stability
  • Expanded group of committed donors and supporters
