Showing Up Authentically to SLP Assessments
Pediatric SLP work relies on experience, flexibility, and genuine connection—especially with neurodivergent children. Families, however, see the “invisible white coat” I carry into assessments. That’s why collaboration matters. An hour in a clinic doesn’t tell the whole story; listening to families does. My role isn’t to dictate, but to partner—offering insight so families can make informed decisions with confidence.
