Join us this holiday season
Help LDS – Learn. Develop. Succeed. package donated fidgets, books, and other essentials for vulnerable learners and families. For the 77% of our learners experiencing significant financial hardship, the holidays can be stressful. Your support can change this by providing items that are both fun and practical for day-to-day life.
Two easy ways to get involved – choose one or join us for both!
Collect Wrap with us
1. Collect
- Rally your workplace or community to collect fidgets and books for ages 0–18.
- To help us meet demand, please aim for at least 30 fidgets and 20 books per group.
What to collect
- Fidgets (new or like-new)
- Pop-its • stress balls • putty/slime (sealed) • fidget cubes/spinners • sensory rings/bracelets • weighted lap pads (new) • textured stickers • small building sets

- Books (new or gently used)
- Ages 0–18 (board books, early readers, chapter books, YA)
- Current, inclusive titles are especially welcome
- Condition: clean, intact, and giftable
2. Come wrap with us
Join our packing line on Nov 27, 7:30–9:30 am. We’ll sort, assemble, and wrap packages for distribution to LDS – Learn. Develop. Succeed. families.
Event Schedule (Thursday, November 27)
7:30 – 7:45am – Volunteer arrival & check-in
7:45 am – Welcome remarks & day overview
8:00 – 8:30 am – Mingling & breakfast
8:30 – 9:30 am – Packaging & wrapping
