April 9 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

With upcoming changes to BC’s children and youth disability funding, many families are wondering what financial supports may be available to them. Join us for an informative session on the Disability Tax Credit (DTC) — a federal tax credit designed to support Canadians living with disabilities that affect daily life. In this session, T.J. Firenze of DTC Advocates will explain how the Disability Tax Credit works and guide families through the application process. Families with children with learning disabilities, autism, ADHD, and mental health differences will learn how to determine eligibility and how the DTC can help unlock important financial supports, including the new BC Children and Youth Disability Supplement. You’ll learn:

  • What the Disability Tax Credit is and who may qualify
  • How the DTC connects to the new BC Children and Youth Disability Supplement
  • Key steps in preparing and submitting an application
  • Common challenges families encounter — and how to navigate them

This session is designed to help families better understand available supports and feel more confident navigating the application process. Join us Thursday, April 9, from 7:00-8:00pm Pacific Time.
