Soula K.

Soula (she/her) has worked as a classroom and literacy support teacher for 18 years. Her love for teaching is evident in her planning, instruction, and assessment strategies. Engaging with children and observing their academic, social and emotional growth is most rewarding for her! Teaching early literacy is her passion, and as a lifelong learner, she’s always seeking to improve her skills and knowledge as a teacher. Her professional development focused on early literacy, and her classroom teaching experience has allowed her to enhance her practice as a literacy specialist.

Having the privilege of teaching students with various cognitive and learning disabilities, Soula enjoys teaching and learning alongside her students at LDS!
