Scott (he/him) is a BC Certified Teacher and a neurodivergent learner who brings a deeply personal and professional lens to his work. His journey, both as an educator and a parent to neurodiverse children, has provided him with an intuitive, lived experience and understanding of the unique barriers and brilliant strengths that define neurodivergent minds.
Scott specializes in Math and Science, where he moves beyond traditional instruction to foster genuine confidence and agency. Scott’s approach is rooted in neuroaffirming care, ensuring students feel seen, safe, and celebrated. To achieve this, Scott integrates Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles, creating flexible pathways that prioritize accessibility from the outset.
Guided by constructivist methodologies, Scott champions “learning by doing.” He loves using Maker methods to turn abstract concepts into tangible discoveries, allowing students to tinker, build, and solve problems in ways that align with their natural curiosities.
Scott is dedicated to creating an environment that embraces neurodiversity as a vital catalyst for creativity and innovation.
