Mamie (she/her) holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology, Psychology, and Education from the University of Toronto. After obtaining her CELTA, she has worked with adult English language learners locally and in Spain and Korea. She has also gained experience working with children in an English kindergarten in Gwangju, Korea. Mamie enjoys teaching both online and in-person and loves to see improvements in her students’ learning journey. She enjoys learning about her learners in different cultural contexts and strives to empower them through their various learning stages. She believes access to various resources is vital for success through early intervention and support. Mamie enjoys travelling for a cause and seeks out volunteer opportunities abroad. She likes to hike, practice yoga, and read in her free time.
