Gina (she/her) believes every child should have access to the resources they need to succeed and is thrilled to be a part of the dynamic and talented LDS team that works to realize this vision.    

A dedicated nonprofit professional with 15 years of experience in the sector, Gina is an empowering and collaborative leader specializing in communications, development, and partner engagement.   

As the Senior Manager of Major Gifts at Science World, Gina engages philanthropists who share the vision of creating a Canada rooted in scientific literacy, technological innovation, and a deep connection to nature. Prior to this, she held key roles such as Chief Operating Officer, Interim Executive Director, and Director of Engagement at SVP Vancouver, where she provided strategic oversight in partner engagement, programming, communications, and donor relations. Gina’s career also includes significant roles in media relations and marketing for the BC and Yukon Division of the Canadian Cancer Society, where she excelled in facilitating provincial media sponsorships, coordinating major fundraising and advocacy campaigns, and serving as a provincial brand expert.  

Beyond her professional pursuits, Gina finds joy in hiking and cycling throughout British Columbia and cherishes quality moments with family, friends, and any dogs she can get her hands on.
