
Eric Dorgelo
Masters in Technology Management
Eric Dorgelo is a technology executive and product leader whose career in software spans more than 37 years. He has built software products and led high-performing research and development organizations. He has led the design and delivery of more than 20 software products that have generated over $500 million in revenue.
After retiring from Aquatic Informatics in 2023, following a decade as CTO, Eric began working part-time as Vice President, Software at Mobiltex Data in 2025. He previously co-founded Sitemasher, a cloud-based web platform acquired by Salesforce in 2010; following its acquisition, he served as Software Engineering Director at Salesforce until 2013. Before Sitemasher, Eric spent more than 18 years at Rockwell Automation in progressively senior hands-on software engineering and leadership roles. Throughout his career, he has built enterprise software platforms—from real-time industrial monitoring and control systems to cloud-based products—and scaled software organizations serving complex, high-stakes needs.
Eric holds an MBA in Technology Management from Simon Fraser University and studied engineering at the University of Waterloo and the British Columbia Institute of Technology. As a member of the Next Generation Technology Advisory Committee, he brings practical experience in building scalable, secure, and human-centred digital platforms. He is committed to helping make individualized support more accessible for neurodivergent learners, their families, and educators.
Outside of work, Eric enjoys travelling, skiing, and spending time in British Columbia’s outdoors.
