Master of Occupational Therapy, Bachelor of Kinesiology

Emma (she/her) holds a Master of Occupational Therapy from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Kinesiology degree with a minor in Psychology from UBC. Emma currently works as an Occupational Therapist in schools for a lower mainland health authority, supporting children with diverse needs in schools.

Emma has extensive experience working with children and youth including working as an Education Assistant and Youth Programmer at local schools, community centres, and nonprofit organizations. She also has formal training in working with children and youth to facilitate positive learning outcomes through Equitas and the Coaching Association of Canada. Emma is passionate about empowering children and youth to be independent and confident in their skills. She values providing equitable learning experiences and individualized support to her students with the LDS team!
