Dria T.

Instructor

Registered Therapeutic Counsellor (in progress)

Dria (she/they) is a neuroaffirming educator and counsellor-in-training with over ten years of experience in education and community-based arts programming for youth and adults. She has worked in both classroom settings and one-on-one learning support, with a focus on accessibility, creativity, and strengths-based approaches.

Dria has extensive experience working with neurodivergent youth, including previous work as a Behavioural Interventionist, where she supported emotional regulation, self-advocacy, and confidence-building through collaborative, individualized approaches. She integrates trauma-informed, person-centred, and neurodiversity-affirming frameworks into both her teaching and counselling practice, creating learning environments that prioritize autonomy, flexibility, and relational safety.

Alongside her instructional work, Dria is an artist and disability advocate. She is passionate about fostering inclusive spaces where diverse skill sets are recognized as assets and where students feel supported in developing both academic skills and a strong sense of self.
