Maia Pody

Maia (she/her) has supported learners in elementary schools, tutoring programs, and informal settings for over five years. She prioritizes building authentic relationships and developing the trust and understanding that is required for deep learning to take place. While she has experience working one-to-one with students across a broad spectrum of learning styles and life experiences, Maia is most passionate about working with neurodivergent learners. With all students, she strives to foster curiosity and love of learning through creative, sequential instruction.

Maia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Occidental College, and is working towards a Master of Education in Special Education from the University of British Columbia.
