Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Diploma in UX Design
Nicole (she/her) has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia, where her studies focused on social psychology and child development. Prior to transferring to UBC, she studied neuroscience at Utrecht University, which helped shape her interest in how people learn, grow, and experience the world differently.
Her passion for her work is rooted in years of experience supporting vulnerable individuals, including adults, children and youth with learning disabilities, and women affected by trauma through volunteer work. Through these experiences, Nicole developed a strong belief in the importance of compassionate, individualized support.
Alongside her direct support experience, Nicole has also worked with startups in the health tech and community tech spaces, where she became interested in how thoughtful technology can improve access, care, and learning outcomes. Nicole contributes to educational tools that support learners’ confidence, independence, and development. She is passionate about designing learner-centred solutions that help make learning more accessible, engaging, and empowering for every student.
