McRae (any/all) graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Education. McRae is a queer, neurodivergent, and physically disabled educator with almost a decade of classroom teaching experience across most British Columbia Middle and Secondary School Courses and Subjects. They bring specialties in History, English, and Drama/Theatre, as well as a lifetime of experience in Forestry, Trades, and Heavy Equipment Operation.
McRae loves helping, empowering, and uplifting other intersectional minorities through their wide-ranging knowledge and skills, especially fellow queer or neurodiverse-identifying folks. They strive to help people become their best selves and achieve their life goals in a positive, community-oriented, learning environment, with lots of patience, care, and kindness.
Our comprehensive learning support is personalized to meet each student’s learning goals. Get support in foundational skills – literacy and/or math and school skills – executive function, self-regulation for learning, studying, homework and coursework.
Adults with suspected or diagnosed learning differences get targeted and individualized support and intervention to help them achieve their specific learning, education, or employment goals.
