Cora is a registered Speech-Language Pathologist with a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from the University of Saskatchewan. They earned their Master of Science at the University of Alberta before returning to Saskatchewan to work as an SLP in the school system for a while. Cora moved to Vancouver in the summer of 2022 to be closer to family, and they’ve worked in the private practice setting since then.
Cora is SAC Certified with a Professional Interest in Leadership. This means they do a lot of continuing education, specifically in social justice and neurodiversity-affirming support. Cora loves caring for kids through a play-based, child-led approach. They believe in supporting families as a unit and helping families make informed decisions on their child’s care – so don’t be afraid to ask questions!
Cora is comfortable working on a variety of goal areas, and their specialties include working with autistic children (especially preschool and early school-age), AAC users, and Gestalt language processors.
