Lauren (she/her) is a dedicated educator with a strong academic background and a genuine passion for supporting student learning. She has experience teaching and supporting students across a range of ages, learning styles, and individual needs, with a strong focus on building confidence, academic skills, and independence. Originally from the East Coast, Lauren has relocated to the West, and her warm, welcoming approach is a true reflection of her Maritime roots.
A former varsity soccer player at Acadia University, Lauren served as team captain, an experience that strengthened her leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. These experiences continue to shape her teaching practice, where she values consistency, encouragement, and student-centred learning.
Outside of teaching, Lauren enjoys staying active, spending time outdoors, and connecting with friends and family. She is dedicated to creating engaging and supportive learning environments that empower students to feel capable, motivated, and confident in their abilities.
