Gaurav (he/him) is a software developer with a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from The University of British Columbia and hands‑on experience in edtech, fintech, health, and the public sector. He’s drawn to impact-driven projects – turning fuzzy problems into lean, reliable software that helps individuals, organizations, and community-focused teams do more with less. Some of his work includes building a geospatial poetry app in collaboration with UBC’s Faculty of Education.  

He values accessibility, pragmatic design, and teaching through simple models and examples. His approach: prototype early, tighten feedback loops, document just enough to unblock the next person, and leave systems clearer than he found them. He explores how new technologies, such as AI, can be leveraged to create a more equitable future for all.  

Off the clock, he’s an urbanism fan who prefers life on two feet or two wheels, and he never says no to a board game, a spikeball rally, a good book, an evening of story‑rich video games, or time with his cat.
