Yue (she/her) holds a Master of Education in Educational Psychology from McGill University and is pursuing a Ph.D. in Special Education (learning disability concentration) at the University of British Columbia. Yue’s research focuses on academic assessment and intervention for students at risk of/with learning difficulties in literacy development. Through her research, she hopes to empower children with learning difficulties to meet their full potential and support their families and teachers. Yue also has linguistically and culturally diverse teaching experiences, delivering small group or one-to-one instruction for students with diverse backgrounds and across grade levels. Yue is passionate about working with students with varying special needs to help them develop academic and social skills.
