Viktoriia (she/her) is Orton-Gillingham trained and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics (English, Mandarin Chinese, Russian) and a Master of Education in Literacy Education from the University of British Columbia. She is a multilingual educator and linguist passionate about teaching and promoting literacy across borders. Having worked with a variety of students, Viktoriia has developed a unique perspective and appreciation for the power of a supportive learning environment, evidence-based instruction, and a positive mindset. She has over 11 years of experience teaching, which includes teaching English and Mandarin Chinese to emergent bilinguals, as well as Drama, Storytelling and Public Speaking.
In her free time, Viktoriia crochets and sews matching outfits for her family: husband Sam and a rescue chihuahua Link. She loves Marvel, Star Wars and all things kawaii, fun and artsy!
